Formed in October 1943 from Seekommandant Kaukasus and subordinate to the Kommandierender Admiral Schwarzes Meer. Along with the name change, the Seekommandant staff quarters were moved from Kerch to Feodosia. The Seekommandant controlled the Kerch Peninsula and the Black Sea Coast beginning west at Feodosia (including Ivan-Baba) running east including the coast of the Kerch Straight and the south coast of the Sea of Azov to Arabat. The Seekommandant was dissolved in February 1944 and its staff moved to Odessa to form Seekommandant Transnistrien-Rumänien-Bulgarien. Its subordinate commands were assumed by Seekommandant Krim ('U').
