The Freikorps Eulenburg was raised in Potsdam on 15 February 1919 by Major Graf zu Eulenburg from 1. Garde-Regiment zu Fuß and and several units from XV Armee Korps including 4. Lothringisches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 136, 2. Ober-elsässiches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 171 and 3. Ober-elsässiches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 172. It was a part of Freiwilligen 2. Garde-Infanterie-Division and saw action in Kurland, Oberschlesien and Frankfurt am Oder.

It was used to form Reichswehr-Brigade 26 in June 1919.

Insignia
