The Polizei-Panzer-Kompanie Mitte was probably formed from parts of the former Polizei-Regiment Mitte in 1943 and in the end of 1943 it was attached to Polizei-Regiment 13. While attached to Kampfgruppe von Gottberg in January 1944 it was listed as having five armored vehicles: three Russian BA-10, one Polish 7TP light tank and one unknown.
