The SS-Polizei Regiment 11 was formed in July 1942 from Polizei-Regiment z.b.V.. It served on the Eastern front were it was used both against the partisans and as a front-line unit. It was withdrawn to Poland in April 1944 and was later attached to LVI Panzerkorps. II & III/SS-Polizei Regiment 11 were destroyed in November 1944 and I/SS-Polizei Regiment 11 was destroyed at Chelmno in December 1944.
