Dates: 5 – 6 August 1943. (1)

Objective: To seek out and destroy Partisan groups in the area north of the Kupa River between the Sava and the line Farkašić – Kravarsko.

Enemy Forces: 2d Bn./13th Proletarian NOU Brigade “Rade Končar” and 2d Bn./Žumberak-Pokupje NOP Detachment.

Conduct of Operations and Results: This continued the unsuccessful Operation “Grün” that was carried out 26-27 July. After a day of fighting near Pisarovina on 5 August, the Partisans withdrew across the Zagreb – Karlovac rail and road corridor into the Žumberak Mountains. The Partisans admit to only 7 dead and 11 wounded. No figures have been found for German and Croatian losses and claims.
