Formed in September 1942 and subordinate to the Admiral der Seebefehlsstellen and was operated under the 2. Sicherungsdivision. The Flottille had its base in Brugge until January 1943, then Dunkirk until June 1943 and from then it was based in Boulogne. After the invasion of France it had moved to the area of Deutsche Bucht and ended the war there with the 5. Sicherungsdivision.
