Formed in October 1944 and stationed in Haugesund, Norway. The Flotilla was employed in minesweeping & security duties in the area until the wars end.
After the war the Flotilla was moved to the Netherlands for mine clearing duties of the Dutch coast. Later the boats returned to Bremerhaven for service with the Bundesmarine.
