Reformed in September 1942 and transferred over French rivers & canals to the Mediterranean. It was employed off the south of France and West Italy, then in the area of Corsica & Sardinia. On the 23 September 1944 the Flotilla was dissolved with its remaining boats transferred to the 22. Unterseebootsjagdflottille.
