Formed in September 1939 from the Sperrschulverband & was employed during the Polish Campaign for the blockading of Hela and for security & minesweeping service from Stolpmünde to Pillau. In October 1939 it was used in the area of the Polish mine barrier. From November 1939 to March 1940 the Flotilla was used in minesweeping & anti-submarine service in the North Sea. It was dissolved in March 1940.
