Formed in Harstad in Northern Norway in January 1945 and subordinate to the Kommandierender Admiral der norwegischen Polarküste. It controled the island of Hinnøya and included the municipality of Andenes (south of Finnfjordbotn) that previously belonged to Seekommandant Narvik. It also took control of half of the island of Senja, previously under the control of Seekommandant Tromsö.
