Soldiers stationed near cities could receive a pass to visit the city. The rear of the pass (Befristeter Ausweis) included information concerning curfew hours for different ranks and a stamp of the hotel the soldier stayed at.

This specific ausweis was issued to individuals in the vicinity of Paris. This Card was issued to Reichsbahnprasident Wilhelm Enrich who stayed at the Grand Hotel.
