The Freikorps Hindenburg was formed on 13 February 1919 in Kolberg. It was used to form Reichswehr-Brigade 10 in June 1919.

This was one of several Freikorps units named after Paul von Hindenburg, hero of Battle of Tannenberg in 1914.
