Insignia

Members of this unit wore a cloth chevron in the colors of Bavaria (white and light blue) as an arm badge. The letter “H” within a circle surrounded by the inscription FREIKORPS BAYREUTH appeared at the base of the chevron.

Of note, members of Freikorps Bayreuth wore French M1915 Adrian helmets, painted dark grey, with the front crest removed.
