One for each Luftgau, these were co-located with the Stab (headquarters) of the Luftgaukommando (air district command) and their commander was at the same time the Luftgau-Arzt (air district chief medical doctor) on the staff of the Luftgaukommando. No information has been found concerning their structure and number of personnel. With one or two exceptions, these were all disbanded on or about 1 December 1943 during a general reorganization of the airfield command structure in the Reich.
