Insignia

A special collar tab with elk's antlers was used by this standarte in recognition of the service of its service as the Memeldeutsche Ordnungsdienst when Memel was part of Lithuania. Officers of SS-Standartenführer rank wore the insignia on a sleeve diamond on the lower left sleeve.
