The Persönlicher Stab RFSS was the personal stab of the SS-leader (Reichsführer-SS). It functioned and a advisory board to the SS-leader and was responsible for areas not coved by the other hauptämter.

Among the members of Persönlicher Stab RFSS were the heads of the hauptämter, honorary officials and various specialists.
