SS-Polizei-Regiment 15

A new SS-Polizei Regiment 15 was raised in March 1943 and sent to Norway. It was sent to Italy in the autumn of 1943 and a panzer company made up of captured Italian equipment was added in August 1944.
Known war crimes
Soldiers from this unit were involved in the killing of civilians in Borysowka September 1942. (1)Reserve-Polizei-Kompanie Nürnberg that was attached to Polizei-Bataillon 310 (III/Polizei-Regiment 15) burned the Ukrainian village of Kortelisy to the ground 23 September 1942 killing 2.875 civilans. (1)
It took part in the killing of civilians in Zablocie, Chmieliszce and Oltusz-Lesnia during September and October 1942. (1)
