The SS-Polizei Regiment 14 was formed in July 1942. It fought on the Eastern front and was destroyed near Kharkov in January 1943.

A new SS-Polizei Regiment 14 was raised in France in April 1943. It was sent to Poland in June 1943 before being transferred to Croatia in September. It was later transferred to Slovenia and elements of it were attached to the 35. SS- und Polizei-Grenadier-Division.

This unit took part in anti-partisan operations in Croatia.
