UNIT HISTORY:
1 Jul.1943..... Unit transferred to Dänemark. The Stab was originally stationed in Frederikshavn, Aalborg, with the remainder of the Abteilung spread out between Fredrikshavn, Saeby in Nordjütland, and Limfjord, Aalborg. While stationed in Denmark the Abteilung came under the command of Wehrmachtsbefehlshaber Dänemark.
Summer 1943..... Parts of the Abteilung were used on anti-partisan duties guarding rail lines and bridges.
4 Jan.1945..... The Abteilung was renamed “Abteilung zur Sturm-Artillerie-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Abteilung 400”..
