This 633 bunker housed the M19 Maschinengranatwerfer the only one to be built in Jersey, what makes it even rarer is that there is a tunnel that joins it up with the 634. This bunker was built between 1942/43 it took about 3-4 months to build, with the excavation of 1,900 cubic meters of earth, 845 cubic meters of concrete,40 tons of reinforcing steel & 6.3 tons of I beams (RSJs).The mortar was removed by the British Amy in May 1945 this was high on their list of priorities. In February 1953 all metal fittings were removed for scrap including the massive mortar turret.

After that the bunker was buried until 1985 when the C.I.O.S excavated it, but it was not until 1994 when the restoration started by Malcolm Amy & his team from the C.I.O.S. 10 years later it has to be one of the best restored bunkers in Europe!
