Dates: 14 – 19 June 1944. (1)

Objective: To comb the Fruška gora Mountains in Syrmia and most of the rest of Syrmia and attempt to corner and destroy mobile Partisan formations operating in that area.

Enemy Forces: 6th Vojvodina Assault Brigade and 1st Syrmian Detachment.

Axis Forces:
Approximately 10,000 troops.

Conduct of Operations and Results: The Partisans managed to stay one step ahead of the Germans and Croatians and there was little fighting. The Partisans claim the Axis troops engage in widespread looting of the villages and systematically terrorized the civilians believed to harbor Partisan sympathies. No after-action report or loss figures have been found for “Kornblume”.
