Dates: 5 – 7 January 1943. (1)

Objective: To retake the town of Teslić in West Bosnia that had been captured on 2 January by units of the 1st Proletarian Assault Division NOVJ.

Conduct of Operations and Results: Attacking from the direction of Doboj, Tešanj and Maglaj, the numerically superior Axis forces drove the Partisans out of Teslić and secured the town. According to figures compiled by the Germans after the operation, losses were,
Germans: 35 killed and 89 wounded;
Croatians: 1 killed and 32 wounded;
Partisans: 134 killed and 117 captured.
