Part of the Anti-Partisan Operations in Croatia series by H.L. deZeng IV

Dates: 21 – 23 October 1942. (1)

Objective: To retake the important town of Livno and clear Partisan band from the surrounding area.

Enemy Forces: 1st Dalmatian NOU Brigade, 3d NOP Detachment/4th Operations Zone.

c. 10 battalions including Chetnik auxiliaries
Croatian
2 Ustasha battalions from the V Ustasha Brigade

Conduct of Operations and Results: Run by the Italian XVIII Corps, all objectives were accomplished with few casualties on either side during this very short operation. The Partisans side-stepped the advance and made good their escape toward Kamešnica and Glamoč.
