Objective: To destroy a large Partisan group in the area around Šekovići/14 km NNW of Vlasenica in East Bosnia.

Enemy Forces: 6th East Bosnian NOU Brigade and the Birčanski NOP Detachment.

Conduct of Operations and Results: The attacking German-Croatian forces began encircling the Partisans in the Šekovići area on 25 August, but the enemy slipped away during the night of 28/29 August and the operation was a total failure. The Germans reported 2 Germans and Croatians killed and 8 wounded, with Partisan losses of 8 killed and 32 captured.
