The 1. Sturmbrigade Italienische Freiwilligen Legion (also known as the 1. Italienische Freiwilligen-Sturm-Brigade Milizia Armata or Prima Brigata d'Assalto della Legione SS Italiana) was formed from Italienische SS-Freiwilligen Legion June 1944.
It was used in anti-partisan operations near the French border and was redesignated Waffen-Grenadier-Brigade der SS (italienische Nr. 1) on 7 September 1944.
