135. Armored Division Ariete II (135. Divisione Corazzata Ariete II) was formed in Italy after 132. Armored Division Ariete was destroyed in Africa. After the armistice in September 1943 it fought the German forces, primarily 3. Panzergrenadier-Division, near Rome as part of the Corpo d'Armata Motocorazzato (CAM) before surrendering.
